Textual Analysis “On the Runway”

It’s hard to tell how well it works and they have not said anything about how well it predicts sales, but it is still interesting to see Credit Suisse and NetBase’s social media-based textual analysis of handbag brand trends (like Chanel, Hermes, Prada, and Ralph Lauren) showing up in Vanessa Freidman’s “On the Runway” column here in the New York Times.
